Clinical Efficacy Comparison of MTA and Vitapex in Apexification for Young Permanent Teeth

Abstract：Objective To study the clinical efficacy comparison of MTA and Vitapex in apexification for young permanent teeth .Methods 150caseswithyoungpermanentendodonticinfectionfromJuly,2014toJuly,2015wereregardedastheresearchobjects.And they were randomly divided into two groups ( MTA group and Vitapex group ) ,according to the different apexification materials.MTA group chose MTA material, and Vitapex group chose Vitapex material.After 3 months and 6 months, the effect was assessed.Results After 3 months, the total effective rate was 96.4%in MTA group;while the total effective rate was 95.0%in the Vitapex group.After 6 months, the total effective rate was 94.0 %in MTA group;while the total effective rate was 95.0%in the Vitapex group.Conclusion MTA and Vitapex are superior in the induction of permanent apical ideal material , and it is worthy of clinical use and promotion.
