Clinical Efficacy of TURP in the Treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia with Reserving Anterior Lobe of Prostate

Abstract：Objective To investigate the efficacy of TURP in the treatment of BPH with reserving anterior lobe of prostate .Methods The observation group was treated with TURP with reserving anterior lobe of prostate , while the control group was treated with conventional method.Clinical efficacy and incidence of postoperative complications in two groups were observed .Results The operation time , intraope-rative bleeding volume , bladder irrigation time and indwelling catheter time of observation group were significantly less than that of the con -trol group(P<0.05).Postoperative temporary incontinence rate of observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05 ).Conclusion The effect of TURP with reserving anterior lobe of prostate is good with small trauma , and it reduces patients′urinary incontinence.So it is worth promotion.
