Investigation of Status of Metabolic Abnormality in Osteonecrosis of The Femoral Head

Abstract:Objective To investigate metabolic abnormality in osteonecrosis of the femoral head.Methods Doing statistic analysis of BMI, the levels of lipid, glucose and uric acid in blood of 500 patients.Results The detection rate of the male and female is 74.4%and 58.1%resparately.The detection rates of age group less than 30 years old and more than 30 years are 58.2% and 72.4% respectively.The detection rate of alcoholic , steroid-induced , traumatic and other ONFH is 81.0%, 67.0%, 60.6%and 49.2%.The detection rate of bilateral femoral heads and unilateral femoral head is 73.4% and 66.0%.Conclusion The metabolic abnormality plays an important role in the occurrence and development of ONFH.The screening and monitoring of the metabolic abnormality is beneficial for the prevention and treatment of ONFH.
