Analysis of Related Factors of Postpartum Hemorrhage

Abstract:Objective To investigate the etiology and related factors of postpartum hemorrhage.Methods Pregnant women situation from 2012 to 2013 in the hospital was retrospectively compared and statistical tests were judged.Results The incidence of postpartum hemorrhage was 4.81%;the main causes of postpartum hemorrhage was uterine atony, accounting for 53.29%of postpartum hemorrhage;cesarean section increased risk of postpartum hemorrhage, with no significant incidence of postpartum hemorrhage and vaginal delivery ( P>0.05).Pregnancy, fetal macrosomia and multiple births were the risk factors of postpartum hemorrhage.Conclusion Prenatal intrapartum judgment, close observation of birth process, the timely processing of abnormal labor, preventing uterine inertia, reducing the social factors of cesarean section, timely taking appropriate mode of delivery, avoiding fetal macrosomia and multiple pregnancy, and doing high-risk pregnancy management, are the effective measures of reducing the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage, and reducing the neonatal and ma-ternal mortality rate.
