Abstract:Objective To evaluate the application value and clinical significance of serum cardiac troponin I ( cTnI) on cardiac injury caused by Acute Organophosphoros Poisoning ( AOPP).Methods In 98 patients with AOPP, serum content of cTnI, creatine phosphoki-nase ( CK) , creatine phosphokinase isoenzyme ( CK-MB) , lactic dehydrogenase ( LDH) were tested on the first day, on the second day, on the third day and on the seventh day of poisoning. The rules of peak times were observed, and each group was compared with the control group.According to the severity of poisoning, all groups were divided into three groups including mild group, moderate group and severe group, respectively. Results In patients with AOPP, serum cTnI reached the peak on the second day of poisoning, and it was significantly higher than that of the control group on the seventh day (P<0.01).The serum CK, CK-MB and LDH reached the peak on the third day of poisoning. The serum cTnI and myocardial enzyme spectrum increased with disease severity, but the growth of cTnI was greater than CK, CK-MB and LDH.Conclusion The serum cTnI values increased significantly when the severity of AOPP became more serious. The serum cTnI was helpful for the diagnosis of early myocardial damage after organophosphoros poisoning. In the rescue of patients with AOPP, it was necessary to dynamically observe the serum cTnI values. The serum cTnI was more valuable to diagnose myocardial damage after organophosphoros poisoning than myocardial enzyme spectrum.
