Abstract:Objective To study the relationship between heart function and anemia prevalence in patients with chronic congestive heart failure and effect of hemoglobin on prognosis. Methods 300 cases of chronic congestive heart failure patients with anemia were enrolled in observation group, including 50 cases of hemoglobin <80 g/L patients, 80~99 g/L patients, 50 cases of hemoglobin 100~119 g/L pa-tients, 50 cases of hemoglobin 120~139 g/L patients, 50 cases of hemoglobin 140~159 g/L patients, 50 cases of hemoglobin >160 g/L patients. Then ultrasound detection results and prognosis were compared. Results (1)Ultrasound examination results: left ventricular e-jection fraction, cardiac output, left ventricle shortening, wall thickening rate, amplitude of interventricular septal motion of chronic conges-tive heart failure patients with anemia were lower than chronic congestive heart failure patients with no anemia;as anemia degree got heavi-er, ultrasound results were worse;(2) Prognosis:readmission numbers of chronic heart failure patients with anemia were less than chronic heart failure patients with no anemia;readmission numbers of chronic heart failure patients with anemia were less than chronic heart failure patients with no anemia;hospitalization time was longer than chronic heart failure patients with no anemia;mortality was higher than chronic heart failure patients with no anemia. Conclusion Heart function in patients with chronic heart failure complicated with anemia is poorer and hemoglobin content is closely related to prognosis.
