Abstract:Objective To investigate the baseline lipid levels in the elderly population in predicting new-onset carotid plaques signifi-cance.Methods Choose city 2000 in the elderly population as the research object, lipid levels and new -onset analysis of carotid plaques.Results Traditional risk factors could easily lead to increased levels of base;total population TG level rise, increased from base-line 1.30 mmol/L to 1.58 mmol/L, an increase of 16.8%.TG levels in men with increasing age and reduced women and increased with increasing age;both sexes emerging data base TC, LDL-C and HDL-C There was a positive correlation.Conclusion The case for a new hair carotid plaque, showing a positive correlation with TG and fat can increase the risk situation.
