168 Cases of Clinical Observation on Comprehensive Intervention in Patients with Carotid Artery Plaque

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of different types of carotid atherosclerotic plaques by lifestyle intervention and drug treat-ment.Methods In our hospital 168 cases of solitary carotid plaque of patients, grouped by color ultrasound plaque echo intensity, treat-ment were given anti platelet, lipid, blood glucose, blood pressure control of diet and exercise intervention and other comprehensive treat-ment, 6 months after the review, assessment of therapeutic effect of different echo plaque.Results After treatment, low echo plaques group and mixed echo plaque group have similar efficacy, total plaque area is significantly reduced, the difference was statistically significant, some of the plaque echo appeared to change;and the equal echo plaque group similar to the strong echo of plaque group curative effect, the total plaque area had no obvious change, no statistically significant difference, plaque echo not change.Conclusion Drug treatment and intervention on atherosclerosis risk factors, can change the plaque, reduce the incidence of cerebral arterial thrombosis.
