The Relationship Between Complete Bundle Branch Block and Heart Failure Patients Serum Brain Natriuretic Peptide Levels
Abstract：Objective To study the relationship between complete bundle branch block and serum brain natriuretic peptide level in pa-tients with congestive heart failure and its clinical significance.Methods A retrospective analysis of 180cases in our hospital from 2012 December to 2013 December, patients with heart failure, according to whether with or without complete bundle branch block, were random-ly divided into complete left bundle branch block group, complete right bundle branch block group and control group.All subjects are under went routine diagnostic and treatment of heart failure, compared three groups of patients with serum brain natriuretic peptide ( BNP) chan-ges the difference between the level indicator.Results The complete bundle branch block patients the serum level of BNP was significantly higher than the control group, and complete left bundle branch block group BNP was higher than the complete right bundle branch block group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The complete bundle branch block can lead to elevated serum BNP levels in patients with heart failure, left bundle branch block is higher than that of complete right bundle branch block, which indicates that the complete bundle branch block, especially the prognosis of complete left bundle branch block can aggravate heart failure, occur at higher cardiovascular risk.
