Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of naloxone combined with Non -invasive positive pressure ventilation ( NIPPV) on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ( COPD) patients with mild-to-moderate pulmonary encephalopathy .Methods A total of 100 COPD patients with mild-to-moderate pulmonary encephalopathy were randomly divided into study group and control group , with 50 pa-tients in each group .Patients in the control group were treated by NIPPV .Patients in the study group were treated by naloxone combined with NIPPV.The pulmonary ventilation function , pulmonary respiratory function and cardinal symptom were compared between two groups . Results All pulmonary ventilation function index in the study group were significantly better than those in control group 1 d and 3 d after treatment (P<0.01).All pulmonary respiratory function index in study group were significantly better than those in control group 1 d and 3 d after treatment (P<0.01).The clinical effective rate in study group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The treatment of naloxone combined with NIPPV has great clinical effect on COPD patients with mild -to-moderate pulmo-nary encephalopathy , which makes it worth of clinical application .
