Application Research on Abductor Digiti Minimi Muscle for Reconstruction of Thumb Opposition Function
Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical effect of abductor digiti minimi muscle for reconstruction of thumb opposition function , to exploretheoperationindicationsandoperationprocedures.Methods 40casesofthumboppositionalfunctionlossinwereregardedasthe object.Respectively by the abductor digiti minimi (20 cases) and ring of superficial digital flexor tendon (20 cases) for dynamic tendon, reconstruction of thumb opposition was carried out , and function recovery was compared .Results The excellent and good rate in abductor digiti minimi group prognos was 90.0%, ringfinger flexor digitorum superficialis tendon group prognosis was 80.0%, and the difference be-tween groups was not significant ( P>0.05);abductor digiti minimi group thumb pronation and flexion angle was bigger , ring finger flexor digitorum superficialis tendon group of thumb abduction , radial angle was relatively large , and there was statistical significance ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusion Abductor digiti minimi muscle for reconstruction of thumb opposition function , operation is simple .There is obvious curative effect and good security , and bend and stretch angle effect is good , so it can be used as the ideal treatment for some patients .
