Study of Relationship Between Individual Characteristics and Incontinence-associated Dermatitis Multicenter Incidence

Abstract:Objective To study the relationship between individual characteristics and incontinence -associated dermatitis multicenter incidence.Methods 138casesincontinencepatients′clinicaldatafromTheFirstPeople′sHospitalofHuizhouCityandTheThird People′s Hospital of Huizhou City wards and Intensive Care Unit were retrospectively analyzed ; the single factor and multi -factor logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the correlation between different individual characteristics and incontinence -associated dermatitis . Result s The incidence rate of incontinence -associated dermatitis was 36.23%(50/138).Single factor analysis showed that the different individual characteristics , such as gender , diabetes mellitus , body mass index , albumin level , mechanical ventilation , taking sedatives , body temperature , antimicrobials used species , Braden score and the number of urinary incontinence had significant difference in inconti -nence-associated dermatitis (P<0.05).Logistic regression multiple factors analysis showed that: Braden score, antimicrobials species and diabetes mellitus were independent risk factors for incontinence -associated dermatitis occurs .Conclusion The own individual charac-teristics of urinary incontinence has significant correlation with incontinence related dermatitis .It can help reduce incontinence related der-matitis risk by applying Braden scale scientifically , through making rational antimicrobial therapy and controlling blood sugar levels .
