Clinical Research of Pelvic Floor Muscle Exercise and Electrical Stimulation Combined with Biofeedback in Treatment of Postpar-tum Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Abstract:Objective To study the clinical efficacy of pelvic floor muscle exercise and electrical stimulation combined with biofeed-backintreatmentofpostpartumpelvicfloordysfunction.Methods 180casesofnormalbirthmotherswereselectedfromthehospitalfrom June, 2013 to June, 2014.The maternal were divided into study group and the control group according to a random number table,with 90 cases in each group.The study group received pelvic floor muscle exercise and electrical stimulation combined with biofeedback, and the control group received basin muscle exercise and general post-natal education.After 6 months′followed-up,questionnaire were given to the patients,and incontinence,lumbosacral pain,uterine prolapse,pelvic floor muscle contraction capacity,quality of life,and the vaginal wall prolapsed of two groups were observed.Results Incontinence,lumbosacral pain,uterine prolapse,pelvic floor muscle contraction ca-pacity,quality of sex life,and the vaginal wall prolapsed of the study group were significantly better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05).Conclusion Basin muscle exercise and electrical stimulation combined with biofeedback can better prevent pelvic floor muscle dysfunction.
