Cil nical Observation on the Treatment of Patients with Facial Nerves Paralysis by Cluster Ac upuncture of Facial Movement Area w ith Penetration Needling on Fa cial Acup oints

Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical effect of the treatment of patients with facial paralysis by cluster acupuncture of facial movementareawithpenetrationneedlingonfacialacupoints.Methods 60patientswiththeacutephaseoffacialnervesparalysiswereran-domly divided into treatment group and control group, with 30 cases in each group.Cluster acupuncture of facial movement area with pene-tration needling on facial acupoints and conventional western medicine treatment was given to the treatment group.Control group only re-ceived conventional western medicine.Results After treatment,the total effect rate of treatment group and control group was 96.7% and 83.3%,and markedly effective rate was 83.3%and 50.0%.Through comparing the treatment group with the control group, there was sig-nificant difference, with statistical significance (P<0.05).It is indicated that the recovery in treatment group patients was better than the control group.Conclusion The clinical effect of treatment group was significantly.So it′s worthy of clinical promotion.
