Efficacy and Safety Analysis of Large Dose Ambroxol Combined wtih Bronchoscopy Treatment of Elderly Patien ts with Severe Pneumonia

Abstract：Objective To analyze large dose ambroxol combined with bronchoscopy treatment of elderly patients with severe pneumonia security.Methods 98casesofelderlypatientswithseverepneumoniafromFeberuary,2012toFeberuary,2014wererandomlydividedin-to the control group and observation group, with 49 cases in each group.In addition to conventional treatment, large dose of hydrochloric acid ambroxol (1 005 mg/d) combined with bronchoscopy lavage treatment were given to the observation group ; regular dose of ambroxol hydrochloride(30 mg, 3 times/d) joint vibration instrument was given to the control group , and bronchoscopic lavage was not given.After treatment, PCT before and after treatment was compared , blood gas analysis,breathing machine downtime, MOF incidence, CRP and 28d mortality were compared.Results Patients′Oxygenation index, CRP, PCT in the observation group were significantly higher than the con-trol group (P<0.05);in the observation group, MOF incidence of ventilator machine time and 28d mortality were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Large dose of ambroxol joint bronchoscopy lavage has significant effect in the treatment of se-vere pneumonia.It can significantly reduce mortality, and is worthy of promotion and application.
