Study on the Relationship Between Serum IgA and Total IgE with Repeated Respiratory Infection of Children
Abstract:Objective To evaluate the relationship between serum IgA and total IgE with repeated respiratory infection of chil -dren.Methods Selecting 60 children with repeated respiratory infection in the hospital from May , 2013 to May, 2014 as the observation group, and 78 health checkup children as the control group. The level of IgA and total IgE in blood serum were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment , the serum IgA of observation group were significantly lower than control group ( P<0.05 ).After treat-ment, the serum IgA of observation group significantly increased , with statistically significant difference compared with before treatment (P<0.05 ) , but still significantly lower than the control group ( P<0.05 ).After treatment , the serum IgE of observation group significantly decreased , with statistically significant difference compared with before treatment ( P<0.05 ) , but still significantly higher than the control group ( P<0.05 ).Conclusion Detection of serum IgA and total IgE level can provide reference for the diagnosis. The immunomodulatory drugs may be an effective way to improve clinical treatment.
