Current Analysis of Human Exposing to Rabies in Xiangtan County from 2011 to 2013

Abstract：Objective To understand the dealing methods of the animals′bites and rabies vaccination status of animals′bites to effec-tively provide references for restraining rabies.Methods Analyzing and summarizing the people′s information who were bitten by animals from 2011 to 2013 in Xiangtan County.Results People were at high risk of rabies infection from April to September , and the main reason of bite was exposure.There was increasing trend that people were vaccinated rabies vaccine within 24 hours after bitten.Conclusion Strengthening the propaganda of rabies prevention and control and enhancing rabies prevention input can reduce the risk of rabies .
