Influence of Different Episiotomy Angles on Maternal Outcomes

Abstract：Objective To study the different episiotomy angles affecting maternal outcomes.Methods Primipara 300 cases of line epi-siotomy technique were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group (n=150).Line 30°episiotomy was done in the experimental group , and controls line 45 °episiotomy was done in the control group.Comparing maternal incision suture time , postpartum sitting up lactation time, hospitalization days, incision pain, and bleeding and healing of incision in the two groups.Results After the comparison of the two groups , the 30°episiotomy in incision suture time , postpartum maternal lactation time , hospitalization days , incision pain, bleeding and healing of incision are better than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion There is 30°perineum side long piece, fast suture, sitting up early lactation time, shorter hospitalization time, less pain, less bleeding and good healing , so it is suitable for most women, and is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
