Application of Improved Incision in 23G Vitrectomy for Tre atment of Intraocular Foreign Body
Abstract:Objective To analyze the advantages and disadvantages of an improved incision in treatment of intraocular foreign body through 23G vitrectomy.Methods 22 eyes were diagnosed with intraocular foreign body and received 23G vitrectomy, in which improved incision was applied to observe the effect.Results The intraocular foreign body was all dislodged once, visual activity was raised after oper-ation, no ora serrata mutilation took place in operation and no proliferative vitreous inside improved incision took place.Conclusion The improved incision can cut down the occurrence of incision complication.
