Application of High -frequency Color Doppler Ultrasound in the Diagnosis of Hypertension Combined with Carotid Atherosclerosis
Abstract:Objective To explore the application of High -frequency Color Doppler Ultrasound in the diagnosis of hypertension combined with carotid atherosclerosis. Methods 123 patients with hypertension are regarded as the observation group , and 60 healthy adults are regarded as the control group. All patients were carried out by High -frequency Color Doppler Ultrasound. Results The carotid artery (CCA), internal carotid artery (ICA) internal diameter (d) , pulsatility index (PI) and resistance index (RI) were significantly higher than that in the control group. The end diastolic blood velocity(edv)and peak systolic velocity(psv)were significantly lower than that in the control group , P<0.05.The intima-media thickness ( IMT) trunk thickness in the control group and the observation group was (0.12 ±0.05 cm vs 0.09 ±0.03 cm), the bifurcation thickness was (0.13 ±0.09 cm vs 0.10 ±0.03 cm), and plaque formation rate was (63.4% vs 18.3%), P <0.01.The stenosis in the control group was significantly better than the observation group , P <0.01.Conclusion High-frequency Color Doppler Ultrasound in the diagnosis of hypertension combined with carotid atherosclerosis can effectively identify the location of carotid atherosclerosis and plaque , and evaluate stenosis of blood vessels.
