Abstract:Objective To analyze the factors related to drug -induced dyskinesias in Parkinson′s disease. Methods In the hospital , during January, 2008 and December, 2013, 242 patients with Parkinson′s disease were analyzed, and 42 cases of drug-induced dyskinesias occurred among them. The clinical manifestation of the patients with dyskinesia , drug use history and symptom were analyzed. Results The drug induced dyskinesia in Parkinson′s disease incidence rate was 17.36% ( 42/242 ) , including 22 cases of peak dose changes , accounting for 52.38%(22/42);dystonia in 18 cases, accounting for 42.86%(18/42);dual phase changes in 2 cases, accounting for 4.76%(2/42).The incidence of male was higher than female , but the difference was not significant (P>0.05).Treatment was more than 5 years, the drug dose≥350 mg/d, onset age <60 years old were the main factors of drug induced dyskinesias , with more representa-tive factors ( P <0.05 ).The severity had positive factor on medical dose and dosing time , and had negative correlation with age. Conclusion Drug induced dyskinesia in Parkinson′s disease is a common complication after levodopa treatment.Drug dosage and tak-ing a long time are the main factors causing the disease , therefore, in the treatment of Parkinson′s disease, after symptoms improvement, care should be taken to control the dosage or the use of other drugs to replace part of consumption , in order to reduce the incidence.
