Abstract:Objective To investigate clinical efficacy of the treatment of gastric ulcer pantoprazole , and to analyze the pharmacological mechanisms of proton pump inhibitors inhibiting gastric acid secretion .Methods From April, 2011 to January, 2013 in the hospital, 141 cases with gastric ulcer were treated, 85 patients were male, 56 cases were female, with patients aged from 32 to 70 years old, and the mean age (46.2 ±4.6) years.Patients were diagnosed as gastric ulcer by endoscopy , and with the exclusion of other diseases .All patients were admitted to the hospital for treatment with pantoprazole and pain in patients before and after treatment condition , H.pylori infection were compared. Results The effective rate of the treatment of patients was 94.6%for four weeks, before treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection rate was 85.1%, and after treatment of H.pylori infection rate was 12.8%.Pre-treatment pain score was (7.5 ±0.6), and af-ter treatment was (2.3 ±0.4).Conclusion Proton pump inhibitor in the treatment of gastric ulcer can achieve good results , can effective-ly remove Helicobacter pylori , and inhibition of gastric acid secretion , quickly relieve pain .
