Research Progress on Psychological Experiences and Interventions for Bereaved Individuals in the NICU

Abstract:Grieving family members in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(NICU)often experience intense psychological distress,including persistent grief,depression,guilt and spiritual distress,which significantly impair their physical and mental health as well as social functioning.The article systematically reviewed relevant scales and models,psychological experiences and intervention measures for this population.Furthermore,it proposed a palliative care prospect focusing on the psychological experiences of NICU grieving family members,including the construction of a comprehensive psychological assessment system,the development of psychological support theoretical model,the identification of specific psychological experiences,and the establishment of multidisciplinary team intervention models to provide theoretical references for clinical practice.
