Network Meta Analysis of the Application of Game Training in the Rehabilitation of Asthma Children

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of different game methods in the rehabilitation of children with asthma through a network Meta-analysis.Methods Randomized controlled studies on the impact of different game methods on the rehabilitation of children with asthma were retrieved from The Cochrane Library,PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,EBSCO,CBM,CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,and other databases.The search period was from the establishment of the databases to March 13,2025.The quality of the literature was evaluated using the literature quality assessment tool of the Australian JBI Evidence-Based Health Care Center,and a network Meta-analysis was conducted using Stata 16.0 software.Results A total of 12 studies were included,involving 9 game training methods.The results showed that medical games could better improve the asthma control ability of children,game levels could enhance children's asthma knowledge the best,asthma education video games had the most optimal effect in improving the quality of life,FeNO levels,and behaviors of children with asthma,group games significantly improved the psychological coping ability of children.Conclusion Game training breaks through the limitations of traditional asthma education that is boring and passive,achieving a comprehensive improvement in the disease control and other abilities of children with asthma.In the future,the game intervention design can be further optimized,and the training method can be selected based on the expected goals,providing strong support for improving the health outcome and quality of life of children..
