Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of care dependency level on discomfort symptoms in convalescent patients after aortic dissection surgery. Methods Convenience sampling was used to select a total of 213 patients who underwent aortic dissection surgery in two tertiary grade A hospitals in Shandong Province from March 2023 to February 2024.General Information Questionnaire, the Self-Rating Scale for Discomfort Symptoms in Convalescent Patients After Aortic Dissection Surgery and Care Dependency Scale were used to investigate them. Results The total score of self-rating scale for discomfort symptoms in convalescent patients after aortic dissection surgery was(18.23±2.65),and the total score of care dependence in patients after aortic dissection surgery was(51.29±7.46).The results of stratified regression showed that gender, education level, living situation, dissection type, surgical method and care dependency were the main influencing factors of discomfort symptoms in convalescent patients after aortic dissection surgery, among which care dependence had a significant negative impact on discomfort symptoms(P<0.05).Conclusion The occurrence of discomfort symptoms in convalescent patients after aortic dissection surgery is affected by the level of patient care dependency.Planned intervention is needed to improve the patient's care dependency level to reduce the occurrence of discomfort symptoms.
