Abstract:Objective To systematically analyze and describe the current status of research related to post-traumatic stress disorder in spinal cord injury patients at home and abroad, and to provide a reference for subsequent related research in this field. Methods According to the research method of the scoping review, the Cochrane Library,CINAHL,PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,Scopus,China Biological Medicine Database,China National Knowledge Internet,Wanfang Database,VIP Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database and other Chinese and English databases were searched by computer system. The retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to December 31,2024.Two researchers independently screened the literature and extracted the basic characteristics of the literature, and screened, classified and analyzed the literature. Results A total of 16 studies were included, including 12 cross-sectional studies and 4 randomized control trials. The incidence of post-traumatic stress disorder in patients with spinal cord injury was 7.1%to 35%,and the incidence reported by different studies varies greatly.A total of 11 assessment tools were used, and the most frequently used tool was the Post-traumatic Stress Disorder Checklist-Civilian Version. The influencing factors of post-traumatic stress disorder in patients with spinal cord injury could be divided into three categories:demographic factor,disease-related factor, and psychosocial factor.Intervention methods include cognitive behavioral intervention and music therapy. Conclusion There are still some shortcomings in the research on post-traumatic stress disorder in patients with spinal cord injury.Future researchers should focus on the development of specific assessment tools, pay attention to the dynamic changes of post-traumatic stress disorder level in patients with spinal cord injury, construct scientific, reasonable and sustainable intervention programs, and verify the effectiveness of intervention programs.
