Research on the current status and influencing factors of adversity quotient in community nurses

Abstract：Objective To investigate the current status and influencing factors of adversity quotient among community nurses.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among a total of 355 community nurses from 38 community health centers in Guangdong Province using General Information Questionnaires,the Nurse Adversity Response Scale,and the Perceived Decent Work Scale.Results The score of adversity quotient amorg the community nurses was(97.12±12.64),and the score of perceiving decent work was(47.40±8.80).Age,professional title,position,working years,and perception of decent work significantly influence the adversity quotient of community nurses(P＜0.01).The perception of decent work can exphlain 20.20%of the total wariance of nurses'adversity quotient.Conclusion The managers of community health service centers should pay attention to the impact of the perception of decent work on the adversity quotient of community nurses,and construct targeted management plans to enhance the adversity quotient of community nurses and promote the stable development of the nursing team in community health service centers.
