A clinical practice study on project management to improve the medical experience of hospitalized soldiers

Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of project management on improving the medical experience and satisfaction of hospitalized wounded and sick military personnel.Methods A total of 582 hospitalized military casualties in a military hospital in Shanghai were divided into a control group and an intervention group according to the time of admission.A total of 262 military casualties hospitalized from September 2022 to February 2023 were in the control group,and the responsible nurses implemented nursing measures and guidance ac-cording to the hospital routine.A total of 320 military casualties hospitalized from March to August 2023 were in the intervention group,and the project management intervention method was implemented to compare the nursing service quality,medical service experience and nursing service satisfaction of the two groups of hospitalized military casualties.Results After the implementation of project management,the quality of nursing services in the inpatient wards for wounded and sick soldiers,the medical experience of hospitalized wounded and sick soldiers,and the satisfaction with nursing services in the intervention group were all higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Project management has been effective in improving the medical experience and satisfaction of hospitalized military patients.Through multi-depart-ment collaboration and information management,the medical process for hospitalized military personnel is optimized and the ward environment is improved,which can improve the medical experience,satisfaction and quality of nursing services for hospitalized military patients.
