Research status of health information overload among medical workers and patients in the digital era

Abstract：In recent years,the in-depth popularization of"Internet+Healthcare",mobile healthcare,and smart health technologies,coupled with the exponential growth of data in the medical and health field,has promoted the innovation of the national health service model while also bringing the risk of health information overload.The paper systematically reviewed the researches on health information overload of medical workers and patients from the aspects of concept development,measurement tools,and research status,and proposes the prospect of research on health information overload in the medical and health field under the digital background from the aspects of introducing new tech-nologies,broadening research contexts,and exploring multi-level mechanisms,in order to provide a reference for the researches and coping strategies for health information overload in medical workers and patients.
