Abstract:Objective To construct a moxibustion intervention protocol under data mining in patients with post-stroke mild cognitive impairment and verify its clinical application effect. Methods Based on data mining and guided by symptom management strategy,moxibus-tion intervention protocol for ischemic stroke patients with mild cognitive impairment was constructed.A total of 114 patients with mild cogni-tive impairment after ischemic stroke were randomly divided into the intervention group(n=56)and the control group(n=58).The control group adopted conventional treatment and cognitive training, and the intervention group received data mining-based moxibustion intervention scheme in addition to the control group's treatment. The cognitive function,self-care ability, safety and clinical efficacy were compared be-tween the two groups after eight weeks of intervention. Results The cognitive function,self-care ability and clinical efficacy in the interven-tion group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the homocysteine level was decreased than the control group(P<0.001).The incidence rate of adverse events of the intervention group was 2.63%,and no serious adverse reactions. Conclusion The da-ta-based moxibustion intervention for ischemic stroke patients with mild cognitive impairment is safe and feasible. It effectively improves the cognitive function and self-care ability while reducing the level of homocysteine. It is worthy of further promotion in clinical, community and family settings.
