Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of pulsed electromagnetic field comprehensive rehabilitation training in improving osteoporo-sis after foot and ankle fractures. Methods A total of 110 patients with osteoporosis after foot and ankle fractures who were admitted to the or-thopedics department of a tertiary grade A hospital in Beijing from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the inhospital time,55 cases in each group. The control group re-ceived limb function rehabilitation training and basic osteoporosis prevention medication, while the observation group received pulsed electromag-netic field therapy combined with limb function rehabilitation training and basic osteoporosis prevention medication. The differences in pain, daily living ability and bone metabolism indexes between the two groups were compared after intervention. Results After treatment, the pain scores of the patients in the observation group were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),the daily living activities of the pa-tients in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05),and after treatment, the blood calcium level in the obser-vation group was higher than that in the control group, and the blood phosphorus, parathyroid hormone, and alkaline phosphatase levels were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of pulsed electromagnetic field comprehensive rehabilitation training intervention for osteoporosis after military training-related foot and ankle fractures can effectively relieve pain, improve the ability of daily living activities, and improve the levels of bone metabolism indicators, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
