Construction of the follow-up checklist for patients with malignant tumors during home oral chemotherapy

Abstract：Objective To establish a follow-up list for patients with malignant tumors during oral chemotherapy at home,standardize the follow-up process,and improve the drug safety of patients with malignant tumors during oral chemotherapy.Methods The first draft of follow-up list was drawn up by literature review and expert group discussion.And the final draft of the follow-up checklist was formed by con-ducting 2 rounds of correspondence with 15 experts from Shanghai,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,He'nan and Anhui provinces.The convenience sampling method was adopted to select 20 patients with malignant tumors during oral chemotherapy.According to the results,the list will be further mod-ified and the final draft will be formed.Results The participation rates for both rounds of expert consultations were 100.00%.The authority coefficients for the experts were calculated at 0.825 and 0.880.The Kendall's coefficient of concordance values were 0.254 and 0.115(all P＜0.001).The final follow-up list designed for patients undergoing oral chemotherapy at home comprised four primary indicators,twelve sec-ondary indicators,and fifty-five tertiary indicators,including drug management,occurrence of adverse reactions,daily living conditions and psychological related conditions.Conclusion The follow-up list constructed in the study has comprehensive contentand a scientific construc-tion process,which can provide standardized guidance for the follow-up of malignant tumor patients during oral chemotherapy at home.
