Abstract:Objective To explore the latent categories of vocational identity among undergraduate nursing students in the later stage of internship, and further analyze the heterogeneity and influencing factors among different categories. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted using a general information survey, vocational identity scale, and an emotional labor scale targeting 348 undergraduate nursing in-terns from six tertiary A-grade hospitals in Beijing,Dalian,Changchun, and Hohhot.Latent profile analysis was used to classify vocational i-dentity,single factor analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were employed to analyze the influencing factors of the latent cate-gories of vocational identity among undergraduate nursing students in the later stage of internship. Results Nursing students'vocational identi-ty were categorized into four latent groups:low identity-fluctuating group(11.49%),medium-low identity-stable group(45.40%),medium-high identity-stable group(28.73%)and high identity-fluctuating group(14.36%).Gender,place of origin, and emotional labor were influen-cing factors of the latent categories of vocational identity among undergraduate nursing students in the later stage of internship(P<0.05).Conclusion In the later stage of internships, there are significant latent category characteristics of vocational identity among undergraduate nursing students.Emotional labor has a significant impact on the latent categories of vocational identity. This provides a theoretical basis for nursing educators and managers to enhance nursing students'sense of vocational identity and emotional labor performance, thereby promoting their future vocational development.
