Abstract:Objective To understand the status quo of organizational silence and self-regulation fatigue in nurses and explore the relation-ship between them. Methods A total of 815 nurses from four tertiary Class A hospitals were investigated by general data questionnaire, nurse's or-ganization silence questionnaire and self-regulated fatigue scale. Results The nurses'organizational silence score was(53.78±6.25).The self-regulated fatigue score was(48.25±6.22).There was a positive correlation between nurses'organizational silence and self-regulated fatigue(r=0.622,P<0.01).Age,professional title working years and Self-regulated fatigue, were the main factors that influenced nurses'organizational silence(all P<0.01).Conclusions Nurses'organizational silence and self-regulated fatigue are both at medium level.By reducing the consump-tion of nurses'mental energy, nursing managers can alleviate their self-regulation fatigue, improve the enthusiasm of nurses to give suggestions, and focus on nurses with younger age, lower professional titles and shorter working years,so as to further reduce nurses'organizational silence.
