Abstract:Objective To systematically review the intervention effect of auricular acupressure in treatment of insomnia of circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders. Methods PubMed,Cochrane Library,Embase,Web of Science,Chinese journal full-text database,Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, and VIP Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database were searched to collect randomized controlled trials on auricular acupressure for circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorder insomnia from the establishment of the database to October 10,2024.The researchers strictly screened the literature, extracted data, and evaluated the quality according to the specifications.Review Manager 5.4.1 soft-ware was used for Meta-analysis.Results Finally,12 articles were included, with a total sample size of 979 cases. The results showed that:TF4-Shen men,AT4-Subcortex,CO15-Heart and AH6 a-Otopoint AH6a Sympathetic could be used as the main acupoints for circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders, with 3~5 times a day,1 change of ear peas every 3 days, and intervene of 28~30 days.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was recommended as an evaluation index.Meta-analysis showed that compared with the control group, auricular acupressure could improve the sleep quality[MD=-2.60,95%CI(-3.91,-1.29),P<0.001]and insomnia symptoms[MD=-4.37,95%CI(-4.68,-4.06),P<0.001],and improve efficacy of sleep disorders in patients[RR=1.33,95%CI(1.18,1.50),P<0.001].Conclusion The auricu-lar acupressure has positive significance for patients with insomnia of circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders. In addition, the recommended regimen in the study can be used as one of the intervention methods to promote the formation of standardized schemes and reduce the occur-rence of insomnia of circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders.
