Summary of the best evidence for nursing management of neonatal enterostomy

Abstract：Objective To search,evaluate,and summarize the best evidence of nursing management of neonatal enterostomy care.Methods According to the top-down principle of the 6S model of evidence-based resources,relevant evidence on stoma care,management,and education was retrieved from Chinese and foreign databases.Two researchers independently conducted literature quality evaluation,evi-dence extraction and summarization,and evaluated the level of evidence recommendation.Results A total of 10 articles were included,inclu-ding 1 clinical decision,3 guidelines,5 expert consensus,and 1 evidence summary.Finally,18 pieces of evidence were extracted from five di-mensions,including team training,stoma assessment,stoma care precautions,common complications management,caregiver education and fol-low-up.Conclusion The study summarizes the evidence for the nursing management of neonatal enterostomy,which can provide evidence-based basis for clinical neonatal enterostomy nurses and neonatal surgical nurses to manage neonatal enterostomy.
