Research progress on preventing falls in elderly patients with cerebral small vessel disease based on gait characteristics

Abstract：Elderly patients with cerebral small vessel disease are at high risk of falling due to gait disorders and other reasons,which seriously affects the quality of life of patients.The article reviews the gait characteristics,gait evaluation and fall prevention interventions in the elderly patients with cerebral small vessel disease.On the basis,it proposes suggestions for fall prevention based on the gait characteristics of elderly patients with cerebral small vessel disease from the perspectives of standardization,popularization,normalization,precision and networ-king,providing a useful reference for clinical nursing work and research fields,so as to reduce the risk of falls in elderly patients with cerebral small vessel disease and improving their quality of life.
