Study on the status quo and influencing factors of ICU nurses'job remodeling and department continuing education self-per-ception

Abstract：Objective To understand the status quo of ICU nurses'job remodeling and department continuing education self-perception,and to explore the influence of continuing education self-perception on job remodeling in ICU nurses.Methods From January to March 2024,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 641 ICU nurses in 14 grade-3 class-A hospitals in Xi'an using general information ques-tionnaire,nurses'job remodeling scale and ICU nurses'self-perception scale for continuing education.Results The job remodeling score of ICU nurses was(64.05±18.55),and the department continuing education self-perception score was(74.40±15.44).The job remodeling in ICU nurses was positively correlated with self-perception of department continuing education(r=0.324,P＜0.01).Age,job title,educational background,working years,night shift frequency and self-perception of department continuing education were the main factors affecting the job remodeling of ICU nurses(P＜0.05).Conclusion The job remodeling in ICU nurses is at the medium level,and the self-perception of department continuing education is above the medium level.Nursing managers should pay attention to the nurses'feelings and evaluation of continuing education,constantly improve the continuing education training program,improve the enthusiasm of nurses to participate in train-ing,achieve the effect of internalizing the training content,influence the active behavior change of nurses through effective training,and con-duct targeted interventions according to different nurse structures to promote nurses'job remodeling.
