Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of refined management program based on predictive nursing theory in extremely preterm infants. Methods Convenience sampling was used to select 120 extremely preterm infants who were hospitalized for treatment as the study subjects from January 2020 to December 2022.A total of 57 extremely preterm infants from January 2020 to June 2021 were chosen as the control group, and 63 extremely preterm infants from July 2021 to December 2022 were chosen as the observation group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received a refined nursing measures based on predictive nursing theory. The two groups were compared in terms of the incidence of hypothermia, iatrogenic skin injury, intracranial hemorrhage, retinopathy of prematurity,ne-crotizing enterocolitis, and duration of hospitalization. Results The incidence of hypothermia, iatrogenic skin injury, intracranial hemorrhage, retinopathy of prematurity, and necrotizing enterocolitis in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The duration of hospitalization was shortened than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The refined man-agement model based on the predictive nursing theory can shorten the hospitalization time of preterm infants, reduce related complications,im-prove the quality of treatment, and can be promoted and applied clinically.
