Study on the development trajectory and influencing factors of postoperative psychological distress in patients with ovarian cancer

Abstract:Objective To explore the development trajectory of postoperative psychological distress in patients with ovarian cancer,and to analyze the influencing factors of postoperative psychological distress.Methods Convenience sampling method was used to select 138 patients with ovarian cancer who underwent surgical treatment in a hospital from July 2021 to December 2022 as the research objects.General Information Questionnaire and Distress Thermometer were used to identify the development trajectory of postoperative psychological distress in patients with ovarian cancer by growth mixture model.Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of postoperative psychological distress in patients with ovarian cancer.Results The postoperative psychological distress of patients with ovarian cancer was divided into three potential categories:persistent high psychological distress group(5.07%),decreased psychological distress group(44.20%),and no psychologi-cal distress group(50.72%).Logistic regression analysis showed that residence,no time and energy to do housework,education level,family per capita monthly income and physical activity limitation were risk factors for postoperative psychological distress in patients with ovarian cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion The changes of postoperative psychological distress in patients with ovarian cancer show three trends:continuous high psychological distress,decreased psychological distress and no psychological distress.Residence,no time and energy to do housework,education level,family per capita monthly income and physical activity limitation are risk factors for postoperative psychological distress in patients with o-varian cancer.Medical staff need to formulate corresponding intervention measures combine with on the risk factors of postoperative psychological distress in patients with ovarian cancer,in order to reduce the postoperative psychological pain of patients with ovarian cancer.
