Abstract:Objective To explore the mediating effect of self-management efficacy between spiritual attitude and cancer health literacy in female breast cancer patients, and to provide a theoretical basis for improving the level of cancer health literacy in female breast cancer pa-tients.Methods From December 2021 to July 2022,200 female breast cancer patients admitted to a cancer hospital in Hu'nan Province were selected as the research objects by convenient sampling method. The General Information Questionnaire,Spiritual Attitude and Involvement List,Chinese-version Strategies Used by People to Promote Health and Health Literacy Management Scale were used to investigate them. Results The scores of spiritual attitude,self-management efficacy and cancer health literacy of female breast cancer patients were 105.00(96.00,118.00),97.30(85.25,112.00)and 84.63(75.00,97.00),respectively.The spiritual attitude,self-management efficacy and cancer health literacy of female breast cancer patients showed a pairwise positive correlation(r1=0.676,r2=0.419,r3=0.531,P<0.01).Self-management efficacy played a partial mediating effect between spiritual attitude and cancer health literacy, accounting for 59.71%of the total effect. Conclusion The cancer health literacy of female breast cancer patients is at a low level, and self-management efficacy plays a partial mediating effect between their spiritual attitude and cancer health literacy. It is suggested that the level of cancer health literacy can be im-proved by improving the self-management efficacy of patients.
