Abstract:Objective To explore the risk level status of high-risk foot conditions in hospitalized diabetic patients in tertiary Grade A hospitals and analyze their influencing factors. Methods A general information questionnaire and the diabetes high-risk foot screening tool were used to investigate 410 hospitalized diabetic patients in two tertiary grade A hospitals in Beijing city and Xi'an city. Results A total of 367 patients with high-risk feet(89.51%)and 43 patients with low-risk feet(10.49%)were screened.Multivariate Logstic regression analy⁃sis showed age[OR=17.340,95%CI(3.409,88.214),P=0.001],education level[OR=3.754,95%CI(1.259,11.193),P=0.018]and di⁃abetic complications[OR=6.664,95%CI(0.855,51.932),P=0.040]were the influencing factors for the occurrence of high-risk foot in dia⁃betic patients. Conclusion The detection rate of high-risk foot in hospitalized diabetic patients is high.Age,education level and diabetic complications are independent risk factors for the occurrence of high risk foot.Targeted interventions according to different foot risk levels should be implemented for the elderly patients with low education, diabetic complication,to prevent the occurrence of diabetic foot.
