Research on the status quo and influencing factors of the willingness to participate in the time bank mutual care model for the younger elderly

Abstract：Objective To investigate the willingness to participate in the time bank mutual care model of the young elderly and explore its influencing factors.Methods A total of 179 younger elderly people in Nanjing were selected as the research subjects.The general data questionnaire and the questionnaire on the willingness to participate in the time bank mutual care model for the younger elderly were used to conduct the survey.Results A total of 135(75.42％)younger elderly were willing to participate in the time bank mutual care mode.Logistic regression analysis showed that the pre-retirement occupation,the source of economic income after retirement,the main way of medical pay-ment and the current way of living were the influencing factors affecting the willingness of the younger elderly to participate in the time bank mutual care model.Conclusion The willingness of the younger elderly to participate in the time bank mutual care model is relatively high,but it still needs to be improved.It is suggested that the management department should further mobilize the enthusiasm of the younger elderly to participate by improving the incentive mechanism,guide and encourage the participation of enterprises and social capital,and promote the healthy operation and sustainable development of the time bank mutual care model.
