Research progress on the application of family-center maternity care in the prevention of postpartum depression

Abstract：Postpartum depression is an idiopathic mental disorder in the production process of women of childbearing age.For pregnant women,negative emotions under the influence of physiological,psychological,social,cultural and other factors can easily lead to postpartum depression.The family-center maternity care model is an organic combination of obstetric care technology,family social support and maternal active cooperation,giving maternal physical and mental overall care.It can not only prevent the occurrence of maternal postpartum depression,maintain maternal and child health,but also help establish and improve their family functions and promote family harmony.The paper reviews the application status and obstacles of family-centered obstetric nursing mode,and puts forward the prospect from the aspects of family sup-port,medical staff training,social support and nursing mode,in order to enhance the understanding of postpartum depression and family-cen-tered obstetric nursing mode in domestic families,so as to help improve the mental health level of puerperae.
