Application of trans-theoretical model communication in advance care planning for patients with end-stage tumor

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of trans-theoretical model communication in advance care planning for patients with end-stage tumor.Methods A total of 109 patients with end-stage tumor were selected.According to the time of admission,patients ad-mitted from January to February 2022 were selected as the intervention group(54 cases),and patients admitted from March to April 2022 were selected as the control group(55 cases).The control group adopted the conventional nursing method,and the intervention group implemented a 1-month communication intervention of trans-theoretical model communication in advance care planning based on routine nursing.After in-tervention,the dignity and acceptance of advance care planning were compared between the two groups.Results The total score and each di-mension score of dignity scale in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The total score and each dimen-sion score of the advance care plan acceptance scale were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Advance care plan communication intervention based on trans-theoretical model can enhance the sense of dignity of patients with end-stage tumor,improve the acceptance of patients'advance care plan,which is of great significance to improve the patients'quality of life at the end of the stage.
