Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical effect of cold and wet compress of Traditional Chinese Medicine with different tempera-tures in elderly patients with acute eczema. Methods A total of 130 elderly patients with acute eczema from November 2019 to March 2022 in a Grade A hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group.Patients in both groups received the same treatment, and pa-tients in control group were treated with 10℃wet compress with Chinese herbal decoction and patients in observation group received 25℃wet compress decoction. The clinical outcomes, eczema severity, and comfort levels between two groups were compared. Results The efficacy between two groups after treatment was not statistically significant difference(P>0.05),and the application of wet compress of Traditional Chinese Medi-cine with different temperatures would not reduce the treatment effectiveness. The comfort score of observation group was lower than that of con-trol group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The 25℃wet compress with decoction can improve the skin lesion and relieve elderly patients with acute eczema. It makes the nursing operation more convenient, and can be widely applied in clinic.
