Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of pre-rehabilitation preoperative exercise led by case managers in patients with cervical cancer surgery. Methods A total of 120 patients with cervical cancer who were scheduled for elective surgery in gynecology de-partment of a tertiary grade A hospital from February 1 to September 30,2022 were selected as the research objects, and were randomly divid-ed into experimental group and control group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the experimental group was given case management by case managers on the basis of the control group. The average exercise tolerance levels of the two groups were compared before the test,1 day before the operation and the first 3 days after the operation. The incidence of abdominal distension within 72 hours after operation, the incidence of poor appetite, the bed time within 24 hours after operation, the length of postoperative hospital stay, and the incidence of complications were also compared. Results Before the experiment, there was no statistically significant difference in the 6 min walking distance between the two groups(P>0.05).The average 6-minute walking distance of the patients 1 day before the operation and the first 3 days after the operation, the incidence of abdominal distension and poor appetite within 72 hours after the operation, the inci-dence of complications, the bed time within 24 hours after the operation and the length of postoperative hospital stay in the experimental group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusion Pre-rehabili-tation preoperative exercise led by case managers can effectively improve the postoperative rehabilitation effect of patients with cervical cancer surgery and play an active role in their accelerating rehabilitation, which is worthy of clinical reference and application.
