Abstract：Diabetes mellitus had a significant impact on global health,and its prevalence was increasing while the demand for diabetes health management nursing talents also rose with the acceleration of aging.This paper reviewed the concept,origin,training,and management of diabetes advanced practice nurses(APNs)in foreign countries,and summarized the development of diabetes APNs in China,so as to pro-vide reference for the training of diabetes APNs in China.
