Summary of best evidence for exercise intervention in patients with ankylosing spondylitis

Abstract:Objective To evaluate and integrate the evidence of exercise intervention in patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis(AS)through evidence-based nursing methods.Methods Systematic retrieval of evidence related to AS exercise intervention from domestic and foreign databases was conducted to evaluate the literature that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria,and to extract and integrate evidence from the literature that met the quality requirements.Results A total of 19 literature were included,including 2 guidelines,6 recommenda-tions,4 expert consensus,1 evidence summary,4 systematic reviews,1 clinical decision support and 1 recommended practice.A total of 24 best evidences were summarized from 5 aspects of exercise benefit and safety,exercise program development,exercise mode,exercise dose(time and frequency),exercise monitoring.Conclusion Exercise intervention can effectively improve the clinical outcome of AS patients,and med-ical staff should follow the best evidence to guide AS patients to exercise safely and effectively.
