The application of electronic inspection system in operating room safety management

Abstract：Objective To investigate the application effect of electronic inspection system in operating room safety inspection.Methods The results of using the traditional inspection mode from April to June 2021 were used as the pre use group for the electronic in-spection system.From July to September 2021,the electronic inspection mode was used,and the staff used electronic inspection software and inspection facilities to comprehensively inspect each key area of the operating room according to the established inspection route and automati-cally generate inspection records.The result was used as the post use group for the electronic inspection system.Compare the average time,missed rate,and discovered safety hazards of operating room safety inspections before and after the application of electronic inspection sys-tems.Results The average operating room inspection time increased from(20.51±2.92)minutes to(34.72±3.94)minutes after the appli-cation of electronic inspection system.After the use of electronic inspection system,the missing detection rate of operating room inspection de-creased from 13.96%to 0.91%,and the detection rate of potential safety hazards in operating room inspection increased from 1.40%to 2.57%,which all with statistically significant differences(P＜0.001).Conclusion The electronic inspection system can effectively improve the operating room staff safety inspection execution,reduce the number of missing inspection,improve the ability to find the operating room po-tential safety hazards,ensure the operating room safety.
